may we be a forest for each other

the forest is beckoning

they’re asking you to listen, to see,
to find and entwine your roots

What magic might we find there?

the magic of
good green smells
of birdsong
of your very own body and heart
of (re)weaving our web of connection

Our Roots

I’m Heather Dorfman (she/her), founder and steward of Rose and Cedar Forest.

Rose and Cedar grew out of my lifelong desire to create webs of care and community.

All Rose and Cedar Forest offerings, from Forest Bathing, to Rooted & Held, to retreats and trainings, offer space and time to go slow, feel ourselves rooted into the deep earth, and remember our essential place in the web of life.

Thank you for joining me here! You can learn more about the weavings that brought Rose and Cedar to life here.

At Rose and Cedar, we share deeply relational offerings and practices

We offer time and space to reconnect with and care for ourselves,
and the other-than-human world.

Rose and Cedar is for those with
bodies, minds, hearts,
and spirits that need tending.

It’s for all of us alive today, in this world.

Time with land, trees, plants,
and other beings is vital, lifegiving, and your birthright.

I’ll help you get there.
